We are conducting a pilot study of new cellphone-based technology designed to make it easier for people to manage their medications. The technology runs on a smartphone and was developed through a grant from the National Institutes of Health. Participants need to be at least 50 years old and taking at least one medication for hypertension. We supply the phone and cellular service to use during the 90-day study. Participants can use the phone as they would any normal cellphone (e.g., make calls, send text messages). They will be asked to complete a survey at the start of the study and at the end of the study. We are looking for feedback on the medication reminder service.
